Which pods & nutrients fit your smart garden?
Own an AeroGarden, Click & Grow, Gardyn, Rise or a generic countertop garden? Tell us the brand or model and we will show the pods, grow sponges and nutrients that fit it -- OEM where it exists, plus the cheaper aftermarket/DIY options that fit the same deck. We read 16 system families and do not guess.
Universal aftermarket consumable layer (round + square)
Open format Aftermarket cross-ref Refillable
Pod format: Two physical standards: ROUND AeroGarden-class plug+basket (the dominant open standard, soaked ~2.5 x 0.9 in, basket ~1.5 in flange) and SQUARE plug+basket (the iDOO IG201 minority).
OEM pods: n/a -- this row IS the aftermarket layer.
What fits (aftermarket / DIY): Round: Ahopegarden 50/60-pc, Growell 120-pk (B0CL5XRCLQ), DRYADES 50-pk (B0D3XCL3X5), generic baskets 50-pk (B08YYWHDJD) / 100-pk (B08W477384). Square: Yoocaa sponges (B0949G6JPW), Aooccder baskets (B09K6ZWWT6).
OEM nutrient: n/a
Aftermarket nutrient: Generic A&B 2-part (solid or liquid: iDOO/moistenland/inbloom A&B, GH Flora). Brand-agnostic across all reservoir-fed countertop units EXCEPT GrowLED smart-soil.
Heads up:
- The ONE fork that breaks universality is round-vs-square -- match the machine's pod-hole geometry FIRST; sponge media + nutrient are then interchangeable.
- Third-party baskets are sometimes smaller inside than OEM -- buy basket + sponge from the same vendor to avoid a seat mismatch. (No formal industry standard exists; this is de-facto convergence on the AeroGarden footprint.)
Many "compatible" / DIY methods are COMMUNITY-tested, not manufacturer-endorsed -- match the physical format (basket diameter, pod type) and dose by the AFTERMARKET nutrient's own schedule, not the unit's reminder light.
