Which pods & nutrients fit your smart garden?
Own an AeroGarden, Click & Grow, Gardyn, Rise or a generic countertop garden? Tell us the brand or model and we will show the pods, grow sponges and nutrients that fit it -- OEM where it exists, plus the cheaper aftermarket/DIY options that fit the same deck. We read 16 system families and do not guess.
Click & Grow Smart Garden (3 / 9 / 25, 9 PRO, Wall Farm)
Supported (brand active) OEM-confirmed Refillable
Pod format: PROPRIETARY biodegradable 'Smart Soil' Plant Pod (coir+peat with controlled-release nutrient) in a reusable white cup + clear dome. This is a CAPILLARY-WICK SOIL system, NOT net-cup hydroponics -- the device wicks only WATER; nutrients live inside the pod.
OEM pods: Click & Grow pre-seeded Plant Pods (3-packs / bulk) + seedless 'Grow Anything' pods (the official BYO-seed refill).
What fits (aftermarket / DIY): No verifiable pre-seeded aftermarket pod brand. The real options: the OEM seedless 'Grow Anything' pod, or reuse the white cups+domes with DIY soil (officially possible but discouraged -- the wick is a tight filter). Etsy 'Click & Grow -> AeroGarden' items are ADAPTERS, not nutrient pods.
OEM nutrient: None separate -- nutrient is embedded in the Smart Soil (lasts ~4 months); 'just add water'.
Aftermarket nutrient: General hydroponic LIQUID nutrients do NOT cross-reference -- OEM WARNS that adding fertilizer to the water tank 'could greatly reduce the wick's viability'. For a DIY refill past ~4 months, TOP-DRESS a dilute fertilizer onto the soil, never dose the reservoir. No EC target (not EC-run).
Heads up:
- It is a water-only capillary-wick SOIL system -- do NOT treat it like an AeroGarden. Pouring hydro nutrient in the tank clogs the wick (OEM-confirmed).
- DIY/seedless 'Grow Anything' pods self-feed a few months; once Smart Soil depletes (~4 mo) you must TOP-DRESS fertilizer onto the soil, not the water. No published NPK/EC (proprietary).
Many "compatible" / DIY methods are COMMUNITY-tested, not manufacturer-endorsed -- match the physical format (basket diameter, pod type) and dose by the AFTERMARKET nutrient's own schedule, not the unit's reminder light.
