About "has edible parts". It means a cited source documents that some part of the plant is edible -- often one part only, often only when prepared a particular way. It never means the whole plant is safe to eat. Read the part-and-preparation line on each plant, and the source behind it, before eating anything.

This is not plant-identification or foraging guidance. Never eat a plant you have not positively identified -- misidentification can be fatal. We do not cover toxicity to pets or children: this dataset carries no toxicity data, so treat nothing here as evidence a plant is safe around them.
